This unusual subject explores a torpedo-bomber interpretation of the late-war long-nosed Fw 190, making an eye-catching companion to more familiar fighter variants.

A late-war development

The Fw 190D family evolved from efforts to improve the aircraft’s performance using inline engines. This torpedo-bomber boxing offers an alternative-history modelling subject rather than a representation of an operational wartime torpedo-bomber unit.

Model details

Manufacturer: IBG Models

Scale: 1/72

Subject: Focke-Wulf Fw 190D-15 Torpedo Bomber

Kit reference: 72540

Unassembled scale model kit for building and painting

A distinctive choice for a Luftwaffe project collection or an imaginative late-war aviation display.
