Do you have [specific kit/brand] in stock? How can I check availability?
All items listed on our website show live stock availability. If a kit is available to purchase online, we have it in stock and ready to ship. If you can't find what you're looking for, please contact us—we work with over 70 vendors and may be able to order it in for you, or we might have it coming in our next delivery.
Can you order kits that aren't currently on your website?
Absolutely. We have relationships with numerous manufacturers and distributors, so if there's a specific kit you're after, get in touch with the details and we'll do our best to source it for you. Lead times vary depending on the manufacturer and current availability, but we'll keep you informed throughout the process.
How often do you get new stock?
We receive new stock regularly from our main suppliers. New releases and restocks are added to the website as soon as they arrive and are processed. Follow us on social media or check back regularly to see what's new.
Do you sell individual spare parts or decals?
At the moment, we focus on complete kits, but we're always listening to what our customers need. If there's demand for spare parts, decals, or aftermarket accessories, we'd love to hear about it—contact us with your suggestions.
What's the difference between your new and pre-loved kits?
New kits are factory sealed and come exactly as the manufacturer intended. Pre-loved kits are previously owned but unbuilt kits that we've carefully assessed. Each pre-loved kit listing is graded and includes detailed information about its condition, including whether the box shows wear, if all parts and instructions are present, and any other relevant details. If you have specific questions about a pre-loved kit, just ask.

How do you grade your pre-loved model kits
We use a straightforward three-tier grading system to accurately describe the condition of every kit we sell:
  • Very Good
    The kit is either factory sealed OR has been opened but verified by us as complete. The decal sheet is in excellent condition, instructions are crisp and unmarked, and no parts have been cut off, test-fitted, trimmed, or modified in any way.
  • Good
    All parts are present and accounted for. Parts may have been carefully removed from sprues but show no modification, assembly, or glue residue. Decals are complete and in good condition with minimal aging. Instructions are complete and legible, though they may show minor handling wear or small creases. Clear parts are undamaged.
  • Fair
    The kit is complete but shows signs of previous handling or storage. A small number of parts (1-3 minor pieces) may have slight damage such as broken attachment points, minor warping, or small flash that needs cleaning. Alternatively, one or two very minor non-essential parts may be missing (such as individual antenna pieces or optional parts). Decals may show slight yellowing but remain usable. Instructions are complete but may have noticeable wear, writing, or creasing.

Ordering & Payment

What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as other payment methods through our secure Shopify checkout. Your payment information is encrypted and secure—we never see or store your card details.
Is my payment information secure?
Yes, completely. We use Shopify's secure payment processing, which is PCI DSS compliant and uses industry-standard encryption. Your payment details go directly to the payment processor and are never stored on our systems.
Can I reserve items or place items on hold?
For website orders, our stock system works in real-time, so adding items to your basket reserves them for a short period while you complete checkout. If you need something held for longer or have a special request, please contact us directly and we'll do our best to accommodate you.
Do you offer pre-orders for upcoming releases?
We're working on adding pre-order functionality for highly anticipated releases. In the meantime, if you know there's something coming that you definitely want, get in touch and we can arrange to notify you as soon as it arrives.
What happens if an item is out of stock after I order?
This rarely happens as our stock system updates in real-time, but if it does occur, we'll contact you immediately. We'll either offer to source the item for you (usually within a few days), suggest an alternative, or provide a full refund—your choice entirely.

Delivery & Collection

Do you ship internationally?
Currently, we only list UK shipping options on our website due to the significant fluctuations in overseas tariffs and shipping costs, which can vary considerably depending on the destination country, package weight, and current regulations. However, we're more than happy to ship internationally and work with modelers around the world.
If you'd like us to ship outside the UK, please contact us with details of the items you're interested in and your delivery address. We'll provide you with an accurate shipping quote based on the current rates and any applicable customs requirements. This way, you'll know exactly what to expect before committing to your purchase, and we can ensure your kits arrive safely and cost-effectively.
What are your UK delivery times and costs?
UK delivery costs are calculated at checkout based on your order size and location. We aim to dispatch orders within 1-2 working days, and standard UK delivery typically takes 2-3 working days from dispatch. You'll receive tracking information once your order ships.
Do you offer free shipping thresholds?
Check our website for current shipping offers—we regularly run free shipping promotions on orders over certain values. Sign up for our newsletter to be notified of special offers.
Can I collect my order in person?
Yes! We attend numerous shows and events throughout the year. If you're planning to visit one of the shows we're attending, you can place an order online and collect it there—just select the collection option at checkout and let us know which event. Check our show schedule on the website or social media. We also can arrange for collection from our base near Glastonbury in Somerset.
How do you package delicate kits to prevent damage?
We understand how important it is that your kits arrive in perfect condition. We use sturdy boxes with adequate padding and protection, paying particular attention to kits with delicate box art or those that are collectible. If you have specific packaging requests, let us know when you order.
What should I do if my order arrives damaged?
Contact us immediately with photos of the damage (both outer packaging and the kit itself). We'll arrange a replacement or refund as quickly as possible. We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase.

Where can I meet you in person?
We attend shows and events throughout the year across the UK. Check the "Events" section on our website or follow us on social media for our current schedule. We love meeting customers face-to-face—it's where we started, and it remains a core part of what we do.
What's your show schedule?
Our show schedule is updated regularly on our website calendar and social media channels. We try to attend major modelling shows and exhibitions across the country, plus local events. If there's a show you think we should attend, let us know!
Can I order online and collect at a show?
Absolutely. When placing your order, select the collection option and specify which show you'll be attending. We'll have your order ready for you to pick up at our stand. It's a great way to save on shipping and have a chat about your projects.
Do you offer show-only discounts?
We often have special show offers and promotions. These vary by event, so stop by our stand to see what deals we're running. We also sometimes have show-exclusive items or limited quantities of sought-after kits.

Expertise & Advice

Can you recommend kits for beginners?
We'd be happy to. Different manufacturers have different skill-level markings, but generally, we can recommend kits that are less complex, have fewer parts, and come with clear instructions. Let us know what subject matter interests you (aircraft, armor, ships, cars, sci-fi, etc.) and we'll point you in the right direction.
Do you offer building advice or tips?
While we're primarily a retailer, we're all modelers ourselves and happy to share basic advice. For more detailed guidance, we can point you toward excellent online resources, communities, and YouTube channels. We also love hearing about your projects—share them with us on social media!
What tools and supplies do you recommend?
We're building up our range of tools and supplies based on customer feedback. If there are specific tools, paints, glues, or accessories you'd like to see us stock, please let us know. We want to become a one-stop shop for all your modelling needs.

Selling to You

How do I sell my kit collection to you?
We're actively looking to purchase kit collections for our pre-loved section. Contact us with details of what you have—ideally include the manufacturers, kit names/numbers, and rough condition. Photos are helpful too. We'll make you a fair offer based on current market values.
What condition do kits need to be in?
We're primarily interested in unbuilt kits with all parts present. Box condition is less important—we're happy to consider kits even if the boxes show wear, as long as the contents are complete. If instructions or decals are missing, let us know and we'll adjust our offer accordingly.
Do you buy built models or just unbuilt kits?
At the moment, we focus on unbuilt kits as that's what most of our customers are looking for. However, if you have particularly well-built or professionally finished models, or rare vintage built kits, get in touch anyway—we might be interested or able to point you toward specialist collectors.
