The Husky Mk.III VMMD (Vehicle-Mounted Metal Detector) is a Canadian-designed mine detection vehicle used extensively by coalition forces in Afghanistan, capable of detecting buried IEDs and metallic mines at low speed. The interrogation arm allows the operator to investigate detected objects remotely. AFV Club's 1/35 kit includes photo-etched parts and poseable arm joints for multiple display configurations. A modern and unusual subject with real operational significance.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
Unless otherwise stated these models will need some construction and painting. Glues and paints are not included.
