The M40 entered service just in time for the final push into Germany in early 1945, mounting a 155mm Long Tom gun on a modified Sherman chassis for long-range fire support. AFV Club's 1/35 scale kit captures the vehicle's large spade assembly, fighting platform, and gun in full deployment configuration, with authentic US Army markings. An impressive piece of American self-propelled artillery in the large scale.
