Explore the Anson's international and post-war service with the Airfix 1/48 Avro Anson Mk.I, kit A09191A. This release offers an alternative to the familiar wartime RAF subjects, bringing three different marking choices to a twin-engine aircraft collection.
The options cover Portuguese Government aircraft 214, formerly NK437, in 1947; N61 of the Hellenic Air Force's 13th Squadron Naval Cooperation, an aircraft that escaped to Egypt and subsequently served with the 13th Light Bomber Squadron; and Royal Navy NK201 of Sydenham Station Flight at Belfast in September 1955. Each offers a distinct historical setting for your finished model.
The kit comprises 199 plastic parts and is rated at Airfix skill level 3, with a completed wingspan of approximately 359mm. Its 1/48 scale offers an involved assembly and finishing project, while the alternative schemes clearly distinguish this A09191A release from the original A09191 boxing.
Manufacturer: Airfix; scale: 1/48; kit reference: A09191A. The box contains the plastic model kit, instructions, painting guide and decals. Assembly and painting are required, with glue and paints supplied separately.
