This release represents a later configuration of the HC.1, rather than the RAF's current Chinook variants. The marking choices include ZA713 of No.7 Squadron during Operation Granby in the Gulf region in 1991, providing a clear historical setting for the finished model.
The kit comprises 171 plastic parts and offers two marking schemes. Airfix rates it at skill level 3, making it a project for builders ready for a more involved helicopter assembly.
