Amodel’s 1/72 De Havilland D.H.60G Gipsy Moth brings a distinctive subject to the modelling bench. This unassembled plastic model kit is identified by manufacturer reference 72286.
About the subject
The Gipsy Moth is closely associated with the growth of private flying and the ambitious journeys undertaken in small aeroplanes between the wars. The D.H.60G paired the familiar Moth biplane airframe with Gipsy power. Its open-cockpit layout and slender wings make a distinctive partner for the earlier Cirrus Moth.
