The Tirpitz was Nazi Germany's largest battleship, spending most of the war in Norwegian fjords where her mere presence tied down significant Allied naval and air forces. She was finally sunk by RAF Tallboy bombs in November 1944. Aoshima's 1/700 Waterline Series kit captures the Tirpitz in her Norwegian camouflage with authentic Kriegsmarine markings. A dramatic and historically important subject for WWII naval collections.
