The P-39N was a high-production Airacobra variant with a lightened airframe, introduced to address performance concerns of earlier marks. The majority of N-series aircraft went to the Soviet Union under Lend-Lease, where they were highly regarded by VVS pilots for low-altitude combat. Arma Hobby's 1/48 kit captures the P-39N's clean lines and mid-engine layout with comprehensive markings for both USAAF and Soviet operators. An excellent larger-scale build for Airacobra enthusiasts.
