The Bell P-39Q was the definitive production Airacobra, featuring a four-blade propeller and simplified armament compared to earlier marks. It was supplied in large numbers to the Soviet VVS via Lend-Lease, where it proved highly effective in low-altitude air superiority and ground attack roles. Arma Hobby's 1/48 kit captures the P-39Q's distinctive mid-engine layout and tricycle undercarriage with exceptional detail at this larger scale. A rewarding build for collectors of American and Soviet Lend-Lease aviation.
