The Me 262 A-1a/WGr.21 was a bomber-destroyer variant fitted with underwing WGr.21 rocket mortars, intended to break up tight USAAF bomber formations before the fighters closed in with cannon. The rockets were fired from outside the effective range of the bombers' defensive guns. Arma Hobby's 1/72 kit captures the distinctive underwing rocket tubes with authentic late-war Luftwaffe markings. A tactically specific and visually distinctive companion to the standard Me 262 A-1a kit.
