P-51Bs of the 23rd Fighter Group and other CBI-theatre units escorted B-29 raids and flew long-range offensive sweeps across Burma, China, and Indo-China — some of the longest fighter escort missions of the entire war. Arma Hobby's 1/72 kit covers the P-51B in CBI theatre markings with options for USAAF and Chinese Nationalist Air Force aircraft, including the colourful nose art typical of the theatre.
