The Fairey Flycatcher was the Royal Navy's standard carrier fighter throughout the 1920s, serving aboard HMS Hermes, Furious, and Courageous in the interwar period. Compact, agile, and instantly recognisable, it was a familiar sight at air displays and fleet exercises of the era. Armory Models Group's 1/48 scale kit captures the early production variant with authentic Fleet Air Arm markings — a rewarding subject for modellers with an interest in British interwar naval aviation.
