Add a distinctive Nordic subject to your aircraft collection with the Avis 1/72 D.H.60C-II Moth Finland. This kit presents the familiar de Havilland light biplane in floatplane form, with the Finnish aircraft illustrated on the box offering a change from the more familiar wheeled Moth.
The D.H.60 family first flew in 1925 and helped make light aviation accessible to flying clubs across Europe. Its two-seat layout also suited training and liaison work. Finland became an important operator, and the Finnish State Aircraft Factory obtained a manufacturing licence in 1928.
The open cockpits, stacked wings and twin floats give this little aircraft plenty of character on the shelf. It makes an appealing companion to other interwar trainers and seaplanes, or a compact centrepiece for a waterside display. The box artwork identifies the subject as Finland, 1928.
