Explore a jet fighter that never left the drawing board with AZmodel’s 1/72 Heinkel He 162B-1 “Volksjäger 46”. This alternative-history subject makes an interesting companion to wartime He 162 models and other Luft ’46 projects.
The proposed B-1 development was intended to use a more powerful Heinkel HeS 011A turbojet, with a lengthened fuselage for additional fuel and an increased wingspan. The design was never built as a prototype, so the finished model represents a hypothetical aircraft rather than an operational wartime machine.
Kit AZ 7851 offers three fictional marking options covering German, French and US aircraft, giving you a choice of alternative-history finishes.
