The He 162C was a projected swept-wing development of the Salamander, designed to improve high-speed handling by replacing the straight wing with a 35-degree swept planform. It never flew. AZmodel's 1/72 kit realises this paper project in authentic Luftwaffe markings. An intriguing “what if” for Luftwaffe 46 and He 162 variant collectors.
