The Yokosuka D4Y2 Suisei was the liquid-cooled engine variant of Japan's fast carrier dive bomber — a sleek and capable aircraft that suffered from engine reliability problems which the later radial-engined D4Y3 was designed to address. AZmodel's 1/72 kit captures the D4Y2's clean lines and distinctive inline-engined cowling with authentic IJN markings. A useful variant distinction for Suisei collectors.
