Eastern Express's 1/72 Sopwith 1½ Strutter (kit 72159) represents one of the most significant British aircraft of WWI — the first British two-seat tractor aircraft with a synchronised forward-firing gun, and the first aircraft designed from the outset to operate from ships. The Strutter served with the RFC, RNAS, and French Aviation Militaire in both fighter and reconnaissance roles from 1916. Decals for multiple marking schemes included.

The box shows signs of storage. There is rubbing and some dishing of the lid. Sprues are complete. Instructions and decals are present.
