Eduard's 1/48 Weekend Edition Fw 190A-3 (kit 84205) represents the BMW 801D-powered early production variant that shocked RAF Fighter Command upon its Channel Front debut in late 1941, outperforming the Spitfire Mk.V in almost every parameter. The A-3 introduced improved armament over the A-1/A-2 with four 20mm MG FF wing cannon plus two cowl MGs. Weekend Edition format with Channel Front and Mediterranean unit markings.
