Eduard's 1/48 Weekend Edition P-51B Mustang Birdcage Canopy (kit 84209) depicts the Packard Merlin-powered early Mustang variants with the original framed Malcolm hood canopy, before the bubble canopy became standard. The P-51B were the aircraft that first demonstrated the Mustang's ability to escort USAAF bombers to Berlin and back. Weekend Edition format with 8th Air Force 4th and 354th Fighter Group markings.
