HMS Kelly (F01) was a K-class destroyer commanded by Captain Lord Louis Mountbatten and one of the most famous British warships of World War II. She was twice nearly sunk and twice repaired before finally being lost on 23 May 1941 when she was attacked by Junkers Ju 88s off Crete, rolling over and sinking with heavy loss of life. Her story inspired the 1942 film In Which We Serve, in which Noël Coward played a character based on Mountbatten. This FlyHawk 1/700 Deluxe Edition (FH1119S) depicts Kelly in her 1940 configuration, with photo-etched brass parts and premium detailing throughout.
