The M1A2 SEP (System Enhancement Package) is the backbone of US Army armoured forces, combining Chobham composite armour, a 120mm smoothbore gun, and the most advanced digital fire control and situational awareness systems of any main battle tank in service. The SEP upgrade added a second-generation FLIR, digital maps, and improved commander's independent thermal viewer. The M1 Abrams has seen combat in the Gulf War, Iraq, and continues to serve with US and allied forces worldwide. This FlyHawk 1/72 kit (FH3300) captures the M1A2 SEP's distinctive angular turret and well-sloped hull in a compact, finely detailed format.
