The Daimler Armoured Car was considered by many veterans to be the finest British wheeled armoured fighting vehicle of World War II — fast, reliable, and well-armed with a 2-pounder QF gun in a fully rotating turret. The Mk.II introduced a better gearbox and minor improvements over the original, and the type served with the Royal Armoured Corps from North Africa through Italy and NW Europe until the end of the war, and continued in British and Commonwealth service well into the 1950s. This Gecko Models 1/35 kit (35GM0012) captures the Daimler's elegant, purposeful lines.
