A charming and evocative Gecko Models vignette set capturing one of the most human moments of the Normandy campaign — the liberation of French towns and villages in June 1944, when Allied soldiers were greeted by jubilant civilians after four years of occupation. The "Welcome" set depicts this emotional encounter in 1/35 scale with figures of both liberators and liberated civilians, ideal as a standalone diorama centrepiece or as part of a larger Norman village scene.
