Gecko Models’s 1/35 Mk 1 Sawn Off Daimler (SOD) brings this particular subject to the workbench as an unassembled scale model kit. The release is identified by manufacturer reference 35GM0028, so you can distinguish it from other versions and editions of the same design.
About the subject
The Daimler armoured car combined a compact wheeled chassis with a reconnaissance role during the Second World War. The family’s different configurations offer useful comparisons between fighting vehicles and adaptations built for more specialised duties.
Building your collection
Build a same-scale military display around the vehicle’s specific role, or use it to add variety beside more familiar fighting and support vehicles.
