Operation Cabrit is the UK's contribution to NATO's Enhanced Forward Presence in Estonia — a deterrence mission that has been ongoing since 2017 in response to Russian aggression. British forces, including Scimitar-equipped reconnaissance units, are permanently based at Tapa, Estonia as part of the NATO battlegroup. The Scimitar in this configuration features the NATO green/black camouflage and markings specific to the Baltic deployment. This Gecko Models 1/35 kit (35GM0053) is a timely and politically significant modern subject, and the natural companion to the Afghanistan (35GM0051) and Ukraine (35GM0052/0056) Spartan kits in the range.
