The BMW 328 was one of the most advanced sports cars of the 1930s, winning the 1938 Mille Miglia outright and dominating European touring car racing throughout the pre-war period. Its lightweight tubular chassis, aerodynamic body, and innovative hemispherical combustion chamber engine producing 80bhp from just two litres made it a benchmark of the era — and a strong influence on post-war British sports car design. This Heller 1/24 plastic kit (80701) is a rewarding build of one of the definitive pre-war sports cars.
