Omaha Beach on 6 June 1944 was the bloodiest of the five Allied landing zones on D-Day, with the US 1st and 29th Infantry Divisions suffering catastrophic losses against well-prepared German defences on the bluffs above the beach. This Heller 1/72 set (50332) provides everything needed to construct a D-Day diorama, combining beach terrain and obstacles with figures originally tooled by Esci/Italeri and Caesar — two of the most respected names in 1/72 figure production. An ideal base for a large-scale Normandy diorama or wargaming scenario.
