The Ranger Special Operations Vehicle (RSOV) is a modified Land Rover Defender 110 used by the US Army's 75th Ranger Regiment for fast assault, deep penetration raids, and reconnaissance. This machine gun-armed variant mounts either an M60 or M240 GPMG for sustained fire support. Compact and air-droppable, the RSOV allows Ranger units to insert by parachute and move rapidly on the ground. Operationally deployed in Somalia, Afghanistan, and Iraq, it is the American equivalent of the SAS's long-range patrol vehicles. This HobbyBoss 1/35 kit (82450) captures the MG-armed configuration in accurate detail.
