The TACAM T-60 was a Romanian tank destroyer produced in 1943, created by mounting a captured Soviet 76.2mm F-22 divisional gun onto the chassis of a captured Soviet T-60 light tank. Only 34 were completed, but they saw service on the Eastern Front with the Romanian Army and proved effective against Soviet armour until Romania switched sides in August 1944. It is one of the most unusual and rarely modelled tank destroyers of the war — a hybrid of Soviet components repurposed by Romanian engineers under difficult wartime conditions. This HobbyBoss 1/35 kit (84556) is one of very few kits of this obscure subject.
