The Vickers Medium Tank Mk II was the backbone of the British Army's Royal Tank Corps throughout the 1920s and into the 1930s, and the first tank to introduce the turret ring, rotating turret, and hull machine gun combination that would define tank design for the next generation. It saw service in Egypt and India and was widely studied by foreign nations — its design influenced Soviet, Japanese, and other tank development programmes of the interwar period. By 1939 it was thoroughly obsolete, but it had shaped the world's understanding of how a tank should be built. This HobbyBoss 1/35 kit (83879) is a rare opportunity to model this historically pivotal British interwar vehicle.
