The Westland Lynx is one of the most agile and capable naval helicopters ever built, designed for anti-submarine warfare, anti-surface operations, and search and rescue from Royal Navy and allied frigates and destroyers. The Mk.90 was the Danish Navy variant, operated from Royal Danish Navy vessels for anti-submarine and surface search missions in the Baltic and North Atlantic. The Lynx held the world helicopter speed record from 1986 to 2013. This HobbyBoss 1/72 kit (87240) captures the distinctive Danish Navy Lynx Mk.90 in its naval patrol configuration.
