The M3A3 was the final and most refined variant of the M3 Lee medium tank family, produced from 1942 with an all-welded hull replacing the earlier riveted construction and a larger rear hull for improved crew space. Supplied extensively to Allied nations under Lend-Lease — most notably the Soviet Union, where it served on the Eastern Front — the M3A3 saw action across multiple theatres in the hands of forces who valued its reliability even as its twin-gun layout was becoming obsolete. I Love Kit's 1/35 rendition captures the welded hull detail and characteristic high-profile silhouette of this Lend-Lease workhorse.
