HMS Harvester had one of the most dramatic and tragic stories of any Royal Navy destroyer — in March 1943 she sank U-444 by ramming in the North Atlantic, but the collision left her crippled and unable to manoeuvre. She was then torpedoed and sunk by U-432, taking most of her crew with her. The Battle of the Atlantic was fought at terrible cost, and Harvester's last action encapsulates both the ferocity and the sacrifice of the convoy war. IBG's 1/700 kit presents Harvester in her 1943 configuration, allowing modellers to commemorate one of the North Atlantic campaign's most poignant episodes.
