The Daimler Armoured Car Mk.II incorporated combat experience improvements over the Mk.I, most notably a revised hull rear and improved engine access that simplified maintenance in the field. Externally similar to the Mk.I but distinguishable to the trained eye, the Mk.II served in all the same theatres and with the same distinction as its predecessor, and the two marks served side by side in the same reconnaissance regiments without operational distinction. For modellers wanting to represent a specific unit accurately, the correct mark matters — and IBG's precise variant differentiation ensures that the Mk.II is correctly represented rather than being a Mk.I with a different box.
