Jordan and Lebanon both operated the Charioteer, and the Middle East variants saw real combat service in conditions very different from the Northern European and Finnish theatres for which the Cold War conversion had been conceived. The harsh desert environment, the Israeli wars, and the Lebanese Civil War all brought the Charioteer into combat, making Middle East examples among the most battle-proven of any Charioteer operator's vehicles. In Arab service the Charioteer wore distinctive desert camouflage schemes and national markings that create a very different model from British or Finnish variants. IBG's Middle East kit captures these specific configurations with authentic regional markings.
