The Opel Admiral was one of Germany's prestige passenger cars of the late 1930s and early 1940s — a large, elegant saloon used by senior military officers, government officials, and Nazi Party functionaries as a staff car and personal transport. The Admiral's sleek pre-war styling and considerable size gave it the gravitas appropriate to the senior figures who were driven in them, and photographs of wartime Germany frequently show Admirals in the background of command meetings and headquarters locations. ICM's 1/24 kit captures this significant and often-overlooked vehicle of the Nazi command structure in excellent large-scale detail.
