The Sea Gladiator was the navalised version of the RAF's last biplane fighter, modified with a deck hook, catapult spools, and a dinghy container for carrier operations. It is most famous for the legendary defence of Malta in the summer of 1940, when three Sea Gladiators — Faith, Hope, and Charity — provided the island's only fighter defence for a period, becoming one of the most celebrated episodes of the air war and a symbol of defiance against overwhelming odds. ICM's 1/32 kit with Royal Navy pilot figures captures the Sea Gladiator at the scale where its biplane detail and naval modifications can be fully appreciated.
