ICM’s 1/350 WWI German Battleship Grosser Kurfürst brings a distinctive subject to the modelling bench. This unassembled plastic model kit is identified by manufacturer reference S.002.
About the subject
SMS Grosser Kurfürst was one of the König-class dreadnoughts of the Imperial German Navy. The class's centreline main turrets and substantial superstructure capture the appearance of the battleship era before aircraft carriers became dominant. This subject fits naturally into a First World War fleet display or a comparison of contemporary British and German capital ships.
Building your collection
Build a same-scale naval display around the vessel’s role, or give it a waterside setting that shows its proportions beside related ships and small craft.
