SMS König was the lead ship of Germany's most modern dreadnought class at the Battle of Jutland and bore the brunt of some of the most intense fighting of the engagement — she was hit ten times by heavy calibre British shells during the action and was the German ship most heavily engaged with the British line. The König-class battleships represented the peak of German dreadnought design before the war ended the naval arms race, and the lead ship's Jutland record gives her a particular historical significance. ICM's 1/350 kit brings SMS König to a scale where the complexity of a dreadnought's superstructure, armament, and hull detail can be fully explored and appreciated.
The most-hit ship at Jutland — SMS König in 1/350 scale, the German dreadnought that stood and fought the British line.
