SMS Kronprinz was the fourth and final König-class battleship and a veteran of both Jutland and the later Baltic operations of 1917, where German dreadnoughts supported amphibious landings in the Gulf of Riga. After the war, Kronprinz was among the German fleet interned at Scapa Flow and scuttled by her crew on 21 June 1919 in the greatest act of deliberate naval self-destruction in history — an event that has defined her legacy as much as her wartime service. ICM's 1/700 full hull kit captures the ship in her wartime fighting trim, before the ignominious end in a Scottish anchorage.
From Jutland to Scapa Flow — SMS Kronprinz, the König-class battleship whose crew chose scuttling over surrender.
