ICM’s American Civil War Confederate Infantry acrylic paint set (3034) brings together a themed selection for scale-model, figure and diorama painting.
Painting your subject
Confederate infantry figures offer opportunities to vary cloth shades and equipment across a group rather than giving every soldier an identical appearance. This set combines greys, blues, deck tan and bronze, with a separate satin varnish. It is a useful companion to a Union infantry palette for a broader Civil War collection.
Included colours and finishes
- 1075 Grey Blue
- 1076 Deep Sky Blue
- 1036 Neutral Grey
- 1055 Deck Tan
- 1020 Bronze
- 2002 Satin Varnish
On the workbench
Mix each paint thoroughly before use and build up the finish in controlled, thin layers. Check colour choices against the instructions and references for your particular subject. Test any thinner, varnish or weathering product on a spare piece before applying it to your finished model.
