ICM’s US Helicopters acrylic paint set (3026) brings together a themed selection for scale-model, figure and diorama painting.
Painting your subject
American helicopter subjects combine broad areas of green with small but important mechanical and visibility details. This selection includes two greens alongside white, red and metallic colours. It is a useful bench companion for a helicopter project where contrasting blades, equipment and small fittings need attention as well as the main airframe.
Included colours and finishes
- 1071 Camouflage Green
- 1072 US Dark Green
- 1001 White
- 1007 Deep Red

On the workbench
Mix each paint thoroughly before use and build up the finish in controlled, thin layers. Check colour choices against the instructions and references for your particular subject. Test any thinner, varnish or weathering product on a spare piece before applying it to your finished model.
