ICM’s WWI US Infantry acrylic paint set (3024) brings together a themed selection for scale-model, figure and diorama painting.
Painting your subject
First World War American infantry figures rely on subtle differences between cloth, leather and equipment rather than vivid camouflage. The selected earth and brown tones give a practical foundation for those details. A separate satin varnish is included for controlling the final finish of a completed figure.
Included colours and finishes
- 1060 Middle Stone
- 1055 Deck Tan
- 1061 Green Brown
- 1050 Saddle Brown
- 1008 Deep Brown
- 2002 Satin Varnish
On the workbench
Mix each paint thoroughly before use and build up the finish in controlled, thin layers. Check colour choices against the instructions and references for your particular subject. Test any thinner, varnish or weathering product on a spare piece before applying it to your finished model.
