ICM’s WWII RAF Pilots acrylic paint set (3033) brings together a themed selection for scale-model, figure and diorama painting.
Painting your subject
RAF aircrew figures add a human element to an aircraft display, from a single pilot beside a model to a busy airfield scene. This set brings together uniform, leather and equipment colours, plus a matt varnish. The palette supports contrast between clothing and flying gear without assembling a selection from scratch.

On the workbench
Mix each paint thoroughly before use and build up the finish in controlled, thin layers. Check colour choices against the instructions and references for your particular subject. Test any thinner, varnish or weathering product on a spare piece before applying it to your finished model.
