ICM’s WWII US Infantry acrylic paint set (3037) brings together a themed selection for scale-model, figure and diorama painting.
Painting your subject
American infantry figures from the Second World War combine several cloth and equipment tones, even when the overall impression is olive or khaki. This set supplies a selection of greens, greys and earth colours for that work. An included matt varnish provides an option for bringing the painted figure's finish together.
Included colours and finishes
- 1041 Buff
- 1058 Tan Earth
- 1031 Warm Grey
- 1072 US Dark Green
- 1008 Deep Brown
- 2001 Matt Varnish
On the workbench
Mix each paint thoroughly before use and build up the finish in controlled, thin layers. Check colour choices against the instructions and references for your particular subject. Test any thinner, varnish or weathering product on a spare piece before applying it to your finished model.
