The MiG-19PM was the missile-armed all-weather interceptor variant of the MiG-19, equipped with four RS-2US beam-riding air-to-air missiles in place of cannon armament. Czechoslovakia received the MiG-19PM as one of the few Warsaw Pact nations to operate the type, deploying it as a dedicated interceptor in the late 1950s and 1960s. It was the first supersonic fighter in Czechoslovak Air Force service, representing a significant leap in capability from the subsonic MiG-15 and MiG-17 era. KP Models bring their Czech subject expertise to this rarely-kitted variant.
