The Nakajima Ki-43 Hayabusa — Allied reporting name “Oscar” — was the Japanese Army Air Force’s primary single-seat fighter for most of the Pacific War, combining outstanding manoeuvrability with a distinctive butterfly combat flap system that gave it an almost Zero-like ability to turn inside Allied fighters. The Ki-43-II was the major production variant, fitted with a more powerful Nakajima Ha-115 engine and armour protection largely absent from the original. Despite its light armament and fragile construction, the Oscar remained in frontline service until the war’s end through sheer weight of numbers and pilot skill.

Box shows signs of age related storage - see photos. Instructions and decals are present, but the instructions have some notes in biro on them. There is a tube of glue in this kit, but I doubt it is any good.
