The Yokosuka D4Y3 Suisei Mk.33 — “Judy” to Allied forces — was the radial-engined production variant of the Suisei, switching from the troublesome liquid-cooled Atsuta engine to a Mitsubishi Kinsei radial that proved more reliable in service. The Mk.33 entered service in 1944 and served in the major carrier battles of the mid-war period, including the Philippine Sea and Leyte Gulf, before increasingly being assigned to kamikaze operations in the final year of the war. The radial engine cowling distinguishes the Mk.33 from the earlier liquid-cooled variants at a glance.

Box shows signs of age related storage - see photos. Instructions and decals are present. There is a tube of glue in this kit, but I doubt it is any good.
