Matchbox 1/76 Morris C.8 MkII & 17pdr Gun & Willys Jeep (PK-172)

This Matchbox multi-vehicle set brings together three essential pieces of the British Army's ground war equipment in one box. The Morris C.8 "Quad" artillery tractor was the standard towing vehicle for British field and anti-tank guns throughout the Second World War, its four-wheel drive and all-weather capability making it indispensable across every theatre from the Western Desert to Northwest Europe. The 17-pounder anti-tank gun was the weapon that finally gave British and Commonwealth forces the ability to defeat the Tiger and Panther at combat range — when it entered service in early 1943 it was the most powerful anti-tank gun in the Allied arsenal. The Willys MB Jeep needs little introduction: the universal utility vehicle of the Allied armies, present everywhere from reconnaissance to resupply. Together they represent the complete British anti-tank team in miniature.
